Our signature twice distilled single malt spirit. Made with Australian malted barley and brewers' yeast for extra flavour.
Double distilled and fully matured in Tawny fortified wine (port) barrels. Both fresh tawny casks from the Yalumba winery in Barossa Valley as well as charred tawny casks are used.
Smaller 100L size barrels gave this whisky an extra richness (as there's more surface area interaction during maturation).
Double Gold medal winner at San Francisco World Spirits Awards 2020.
Colour:
Nose: Dried orange peel, raisins, fig and toasty oak
Palate: Sweet Christmassy, with dried fruit , cooked plum, and nutmeg
Finish: brown sugar, oily nuts, lingering dry spice
