A ‘15 Gun Salute’ princely state of British India – Rampur is known for its rich heritage and royal traditions. Rampur is one of the homes of Urdu poetry and Hindustani music and is also the home to a very distinct style of architecture, cuisines and interestingly, knife making.

Distilled in traditional copper pot stills, matured in first fill bourbon casks and bottled – all at the foothills of the Himalayas in Uttar Pradesh.

Due to the distillery's location in the Himalayan foothills the single malt is exposed to polar opposite climate conditions at Rampur warehouse facilities vary from 1⁰ C in winter to 46⁰ C in peak summer. The good thing is the humidity remains at around 75% – 80% except few months in winter & summer. This unique condition accelerates the maturation process.

The newest jewel in the collection is the Rampur Double Cask Indian Single Malt Whisky Non-Chill Filtered. Matured in handpicked American Bourbon barrels & European Oak sherry casks.

Colour:

Nose: Full-bodied aroma of tropical fruits, smooth sweet malty tones and oaky notes from double oak-wood barrels create an aurora of flavors. (MoM: Aromas of tropical fruits mingle with sweet malt, oak, honey and dried fruits on the nose)

Palate: Lustful elegance of sweet fruits; riding on rich sherry for a blissful nirvana. (MoM: notes of dark berries, dried fruits, cinnamon, nutmeg and salted caramel.)
