1st May 2019 -- Scottish Curling (RCCC) have not increased the £20 member subscriptions for the coming year, however Active Stirling are reducing the Chartered Club discount by 5% per year for the next 3 years thereby reducing the current 25% discount to 10% by 2022-23. This year our 20% discount on the ice charge of £86/rink equates to £8.60ph; it was agreed that the current ice fee of £9ph would remain for the 2019-20 year. Club funds are fairly robust nonetheless with the reduced excess monies from the ice fees it was considered that the subscriptions should be increased slightly. The new subscriptions are:--
|Mother club members:||£32|
|Non mother club members||£14|
|Non playing members||£7|
Club Competitions for 2019-20: It was agreed that all Club, Interclub, Province and Area 6 matches would continue as previously. The Autumn and Spring Leagues would continue with 5 teams. The limited weekend curling introduced sucessfully in 2018-19 will continue and the Secretary assured the meeting that the recently submitted Ice Request avoided clashing with the 6 Nation Rugby fixtures!!
