The Amani Caravan Retreat is a care in the community-based initiative . It is our desire to offer a helping hand, love and support for those people who are dealing with struggles. The Project will offer individuals and families who are experiencing adverse life circumstances, and opportunity to enjoy a short break for respite and relaxing purposes.
We are SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation) and focus on the advancement of education, arts, heritage, culture or science. An outreach project run by group of volunteers who are passionate about experimental archaeology and living history.
The Arctic Club brings together people with experience of expeditions to the Arctic, for science, exploration and adventure. We welcome new members and hold an Annual Dinner in December. We give Arctic Club Awards to support expeditions, though the Gino Watkins Memorial Fund. The Arctic Expedition Noticeboard enables the exchange of information and expertise about recent and forthcoming expeditions.
Ashbourne Allotments is sited by Watery Lane, Ashbourne in Derbyshire. The site only started in March 2011. The land originally belonged to Nestle who sold it with a covenant to Derbyshire Dales District Council for agricultural use only. Derbyshire Dales Council lease the land to the Ashbourne Alotments Association.
We are a local horticutural society for Aston Clinton and the surrounding area. The Society organises monthly meetings with a visiting speaker and holds a Spring and Summer Show.We organise garden visits in the summer and support village activities with plant sales.
'Balsall Heath Is Our Planet' is an alliance of groups and individuals in our inner city neighbourhood of Birmingham, which aims to empower people to realise the benefits of a more efficient and sustainable way of life. It is a registered charity.
We are locals who are passionate about our environment, the Thames towpath and waterways. We organise weekly group litter picking sessions along the towpath and foreshore between Hammersmith and Barnes Bridges. As no one time works for everyone, we also support anyone who wants to join us to pick up litter in their own time, as and when they can.
The Club’s activities include weekly Sunday rambles in Surrey and surrounding areas, usually 3 full day and 1 half day each month. There are also some social events during the year. The East Twickenham Belgian Refugee Project researches the unique history of the 1WW Belgian Refugee Community in Richmond & Twickenham, and works to make this known in publications and by public commemoration. It acts for the East Twickenham Centennial Group in partnership with the Friends of Cambridge & Warren Gardens.
A group originally set up to oppose a speculative housing proposal for the beautiful and unique Georgian town of Bewdley. We now keep watch for any further threats to rural character of the landscape surrounding the conservation area of the town. Since 2016, volunteers have transformed the neglected former gardeners’ yard on the edge of Canbury Gardens, North Kingston, into a productive, wild-life-friendly community garden. We have been gardening for 160 on our allotments based in Arklay Street Dundee. We have 82 plot and a friendly community where the allotmenteer's plant their fruit and vegetables. Advice, guidance and support is available from any of the plot holders. Plot holders love to share, ideas, knowledge and even their seedlings and produce.

East Hale Allotments is situated by the River Lee in the Tottenham Hale area and owned by Lee Valley Regional Park Authority. Edible Meanwood was created in 2023 to maintain and develop public edible spaces and help local people connect to nature and learn growing skills, work together as a community and provide a free source of food. We teach people earth friendly ways of growing to create productive, beautiful and wildlife-friendly spaces which enhance our local area.
East London Canal Access Network (ELCAN) CIC connects communities with their waterways. Many urban canals suffer from pollution, and their ecology is threatened by invasive species. Meanwhile local people have very limited access to outdoor spaces or activities. ELCAN offers a solution to both these issues by facilitating safe environmental work and offering watersports opportunities and training to hard-to-reach groups.
Ellerton & Aughton are two small villages in the East Riding of Yorkshire. They have a very close knit community, sharing church and village hall facilities along with the Boot & Shoe Inn in Ellerton! Many volunteers organise events for the villages, such as fetes, craft clubs, parent & toddler groups, bingo & whist drives and charity fundraisers.

Councillors comment on Planning Applications as well as considering and responding to consultations affecting residents of the Parish. Where appropriate Councillors or the Clerk represent the Parish at events.
Epsom Garden Society promotes all aspects of horticulture in Epsom. We hold monthly meetings, with a wide range of interesting speakers, and an annual show. Membership also gives you 10 newsletters per year and the opportunity to visit other members' gardens and join trips to interesting gardens.
