Colchester Association of Local Councils

THE NEXT CALC MEETING IS VIA ZOOM ON 27th. AUGUST 2020 AT 7pm

The Association brings together the Parish and Town Councils within the borough of Colchester as a sector voice to help influence decisions taken by Colchester Borough Council that affect member Councils either individually or as a whole.

The Association feeds in to the County and National Associations - EALC and NALC respectively, on any area that affects its constituents or member communities.

It will also allow greater understanding of sector issues through, networking, discussion and invited specialist speakers.

To this end Association members hold positions on Colchester Borough Councils boards and panels as appropriate including:

  • Local Highways Panel
  • Standards Board
  • Task & Finish Groups
