Braunton, a lively village in North Devon, is twinned with Plouescat in Brittany, France. Plouescat, near Roscoff, is of similar size and outlook to Braunton. The purpose of the twinning organisation is to promote understanding and friendship between the two communities, and to have a lot of fun. All ages are involved and new members are most welcome !
Build Back Better in Brighton and Hove (BBB in B & H) was launched by Brighton and Hove in July 2020. Nationally, Compass campaigns for a more equal, democratic and sustainable society and BBB in B & H is working to build on those principles to achieve positive change in our city post Covid-19.

News is a rich source of local history, recent and ancient, so the Council has agreed that the magazine and any other articles of local historic interest may be published on a dedicated history website, for benefit of residents and anyone interested in the parish.

Haddenham Mummers perform the traditional village mummers play in and around Haddenham, Bucks in the weeks just before Christmas every year. Excepting a tiny amount to cover public liability insurance etc, all the money collected is distributed to local charities and good causes, £2850 in the last (2019) season.

The Heritage Gallery in Camberley, Surrey was established to support and promote Surrey Heath Museum. It now houses the Museum display and exhibition area on the ground floor and displays of local history, art and photography by supporting societies on the upper floor. Opened by Michael Gove in 2009, it attracts thousands of visitors both local and international.
