Friends of Burnley Cemeteries

The Friends of Burnley Cemeteries was formed in 2013 to raise awareness of the historical, social, architectural and ecological importance of cemeteries in the Burnley District. We work in partnership with Burnley Borough Council and organise guided walks, help with family history enquiries, produce self-guided walks leaflets and a yearly newsletter. Because of reduced membership we no longer hold regulat meetings but we are happy to organise walks on request and to answer family history enquiries.
