The Greater Acomb Community Forum creates opportunities to build a thriving future for the Acomb area. Through working with our diverse community and engaging with local representatives, we are involved in a variety of projects focussing on improving all aspects of Acomb life, from environment to public transport to art and culture.

The Hale Community Centre (formerly Sandy Hill Community Bungalow) is a community resource that provides a range of services, activities and meeting spaces for people of all ages. Our aim is to provide recreational, learning, business and social activities, which are accessible and affordable.

Hampton Hill Community Choir (HHCC) is just what it says on the tin! We sing in Hampton Hill. We have no auditions. We are open to all.

The Heritage Gallery in Camberley, Surrey was established to support and promote Surrey Heath Museum. It now houses the Museum display and exhibition area on the ground floor and displays of local history, art and photography by supporting societies on the upper floor. Opened by Michael Gove in 2009, it attracts thousands of visitors both local and international.

Jaywick Local History Society is a friendly group who's members share a common interest in the history of the little Essex resort of Jaywick and the local area. We enjoy finding out about the history of our seaside village, and sharing the information we find.

An amateur, mixed vocal quartet singing both accompanied and a cappella music of many genres not only for their own pleasure but also for charities and other interested organisations.

Little Cornard is a village in Suffolk. Located around 0.5 miles from its larger sibling Great Cornard on the B1508 between Sudbury and Colchester. The parish also includes the hamlet of Workhouse Green. The parish's eastern boundary is the River Stour. The parish is also home to the Cornard Mere Site and the Appletree Wood and Mumford Wood wildlife sites.

A local history society for Longridge and district in the Ribble Valley and in the heart of Lancashire, The society covers history from local and a wider area . Meetings are friendly and informal. Guests and new members are always welcome.

MEFAS provides training in first aid and emergency aid (CERT) to the public. MEFAS also offers first aid cover at events ranging from school fetes, local fund raising activities, children's football leagues and assistance to trading charities and commercial operations. MEFAS provides these services, in the main, to South London Boroughs and North Surrey.

Margaret Roding is a small parish in the District of Uttlesford, the county of Essex and in the parliamentary constituency of Saffron Walden. The parish has approximately 80 dwellings and a population close to 200

We are not for profit voluntary group that organises and produces the Middlewich Annual Show which is for members of the community to show their skills in crafts, photography, cooking and display home grown fruit and vegetables with flower arranging etc.

A community based walking group, run by volunteers. We meet on Wednesday mornings at 10.15am. Walks last approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour and take place in venues around Newtownabbey and a 20 mile radius.

We are a non-profit who finds solutions to local and wider communities. For example; bridging the gap whereby financial support by authorities are either limited or non-existent, which leave folk vulnerable. There has been non-help or support that i could find in and around my county for those that need to keep communications open such-as mobile or landline services.

Formed in 1976 in Northampton, we meet twice a month at Kingsley Park Working Mens Club and in the good weather we meet at our pond at Whites Nursery in Earls Barton. We attend many events throughout the year, sometimes taking our mobile pond with us.

Pentlow is a small rural village in the North East part of the Braintree District area

Gardening Society which holds monthly meetings at the Prestwood Village Hall on the second Thursday of the month, garden outings and an annual show.

We meet every third Monday of the month from 7.30pm till 9.30pm In the Ramsden Bellhouse Village Community Hall. Perennial membership of £8.00 per couple and £5.00 per single. Monthly meetings will usually include a Speaker, discussing the many aspects of gardening. Garden visits are often planned, during the Summer. Three shows planned every year.

Reading u3a is a learning co-operative of older people, which enables members to share many educational, creative and leisure activities. Activities are organised mainly in small groups that meet regularly, sometimes in each other's homes. It is a member of The Third Age Trust. It pursues a wide range of topics; some academic, some practical and others recreational.

The group welcomes people with Parkinsons their family members and carers, Meetings can be informal - a chance to talk and discuss worries and experiences.There are social activities too as well as offering Tai Chi, Nordic walking, Yoga and Extend exercise, speech practice and singing each month.

A friendly gardening society based in Southport, celebrating our 75th year in 2025. We hold monthly talks, Spring and Autumn shows, plant sales and coffee mornings. New members always welcome. Registered Charity Number: 519273.
