Hampton Hill Community Choir
Hampton Hill Community Choir (HHCC) is just what it says on the tin! We sing in Hampton Hill. We are a community that is a choir. We have no auditions. We are open to all.
Due to COVID-19, we have only been meeting via Zoom since March. We are hoping to re-open, maybe in September, and in a way that is safe and enjoyable for those that attend. We are looking into sharing our rehearsals virtually as well. Our Facebook page is at https://www.facebook.com/HamptonHillCommunityChoir/ if you want news.
We are building an email list of those whose "new normal" once we are able to resume will correlate to the choir's "new normal". Email email@example.com to be put on this list.
We are leaving the information below for now.
We meet at United Reformed Church, 35 High Street, Hampton Hill, TW12 1NB. We welcome everyone who wants to come along to sing. Our leader, Fiz Markham, is very keen that we enjoy singing and our warm up helps us to love using our voices. We sing everything from medieval through to pop music. Our tag line is "Singing for fun". We have about 20 regular members and another 10 irregulars and would love to grow a bit more. Perhaps you'd like to try us out one Thursday?
We start at 730 and end at 930 with a tea-break in the middle. Once a month we storm through without a break until 9pm and then have a more social get together with drinks and some food.
The first two times you come are free and after that you can pay £6 per visit and pay for your music for the term or save money by paying termly (which includes music)
Leaving this as an example of what we would normally do
Performance on 3rd April A joint performance with readings from the church's writers' group.
