THE NEXT PARISH COUNCIL MEETING IS ON WEDNESDAY 15th MAY 2024 AT 7.30PM IN THE FARMHOUSE, REID ROOMS. There will be two meetings on this evening, the first will be the annual village meeting which will immediately be followed by the meeting of the parish council. The agenda is published the week before the meeting date. The minutes from all previous minutes are available to read on this website.
Ditch maintenance. please see this guide from Essex County Council on ditch maintenance including responsibilities Ditch_Maintenance_Leaflet_2_.pdf. Please remember if you have an ordinary watercourse which runs through your property or adjacent to it, it is very likely you will be responsible for its maintenance. Please help us to reduce surface water flooding in the village by keeping ditches clear and free from blockages.
Fibre broadband is now live in most of the parish. The service provider is Gigaclear, please check their website to confirm if your property can be connected and how to book an installation, https://www.gigaclear.com/installation
