Mafia Weekend AKA Make a Film in a Weekend, is a participatory film production company and educational programme. We use the medium of film-making to bring people together to establish personal connections. The course shares the essentials of movie-making: participants learn how to write, light, act and direct a film in 2 days.

The Museum was established in the early 1920’s, as Maldon Borough Museum and in 1996 moved to our current premises, the Edwardian built former Park Keepers Lodge in Promenade Park, Maldon.

Pendle Ladies' Choir (formerly Nelson Civic Ladies Choir) is a group of around 50 ladies from around the Pendle area of Lancashire who love to sing! Phoenix Clog are a ‘mixed’ Morris Side, based near Epsom, in Surrey, who dance North West Morris. We welcome both men and women, young or old, experienced or novice, musician and dancer. During the Winter months we practice on Wednesday evenings, dancing out at numerous spots throughout the Summer.

Rettendon Memorial Hall was first built in 1923 in memory of villagers killed in the First World War, and contains their inscribed memorial stone in its entrance foyer. Thame, near Oxford, has been twinned with Montesson, near Paris, since 2001. We are an independent and self financing organisation with active members in Thame and the surrounding villages.Our aim is to facilitate visits and exchanges between the people and associations of Thame and Montesson. Annual visits take place in September to Montesson and in May to Thame.
The two towns pledged that they would encourage social and cultural visits. Since then the two towns have visited each other on alternate years. The Twinning Association was formed to relieve the town council from the task of organising the visits.
