The Community Hub is now being held in All Saints' Church with kind permission of the Parochial Parish Council (PCC).  The Kint and Natter group is holding their workshops on 1st and 3rd Wednesdys of the month at the church after the community hub.   Again with the kind permission of the PCC.

 

Rettendon Memorial Parish Hall is situated in the village of Rettendon, conveniently placed on the main A1245 road from Chelmsford towards Runwell, Wickford and South Woodham Ferrers.

First built in 1923 in memory of villagers killed in the First World War, with an inscribed memorial stone in its entrance foyer, it was extended in 1957 to include an entrance hall, kitchen and toilets.  It continues to be maintained with all facilities expected for a village hall with a stage and side rooms for entering, exit and costume changing, a committee room with table and chairs, the main hall complete with dance floor and the hall has its own car park.     

It operates a programme of events throughout the year, as well as being available for public hire.

 As a Memorial Hall it commemorates events for the Armed Forces, Veterans, Wars and conflicts.
