This is a group which is made up of Baines School 1717 Club (former staff), Baines School Former Pupils Association, and Baines School Alumni.
Bamford & District History Group was formed to study and enjoy the history of Bamford and the surrounding areas. We hold monthly meetings, an annual exhibition and arrange visits to places of interest. The Group holds an archive of local records, photographs, maps and newspaper cuttings.

Braunton, a lively village in North Devon, is twinned with Plouescat in Brittany, France. Plouescat, near Roscoff, is of similar size and outlook to Braunton. The purpose of the twinning organisation is to promote understanding and friendship between the two communities, and to have a lot of fun. All ages are involved and new members are most welcome !
