Bamford & District History Group was formed to study and enjoy the history of Bamford and the surrounding areas. We hold monthly meetings, an annual exhibition and arrange visits to places of interest. The Group holds an archive of local records, photographs, maps and newspaper cuttings.

The East Twickenham Belgian Refugee Project researches the unique history of the 1WW Belgian Refugee Community in Richmond & Twickenham, and works to make this known in publications and by public commemoration. A group originally set up to oppose a speculative housing proposal for the beautiful and unique Georgian town of Bewdley. We now keep watch for any further threats to rural character of the landscape surrounding the conservation area of the town. An amateur choir with about 40 members which rehearses and performs 3 concerts a year. The content ranges from the classical to the more modern. The concerts are staged in local churches. We also give Christmas Carol performances in local elderly persons homes.
