Tendring District Council

To build or alter properties in certain ways an application must be made to the relevant planning authority.  In Thorrington this is Tendring District Council.  These plans are then sent to certain bodies and the neighbouring properties for comment, the Parish Council is a statutory consultee.  The applications are listed on the Parish Council meeting agenda, are reviewed by the Councillors and discussed at the meeting.  If the Council agree to comment on an application it is then submitted to the District Council for consideration.
