We are a small but friendly Guide Unit. For girls aged 10 to 14 - Guides to challenge themselves and make a difference in their community. We work on a range of badges and activities with the aim of facilitating the young people in developing their team working skills, leadership skills, independence and life skills along with so much more.
Over many years Galleywood, in common with many towns and villages, had an annual carnival. A survey of all residents undertaken as part of the Parish Plan in 2011 identified an annual celebratory event as something the village wanted and would support. The Committee, constituted as a small charity which does not own any buildings or employ people
We are a thriving Scout Group for boys and girls in and around the market town of Kirkham, located on the Fylde coast between Preston and Blackpool in West Lancashire. We have a Beaver Scout Colony, a Cub Scout Pack and a Scout Troop, and support local Explorer Scout Units.
We are an all comers social cycle group based in Bath. We ride each Thursday from Bath, using quiet lanes. We are non competitive with an emphasis on social. Walking up hills is fine by us. Our age span is 55-75 and our gender mix is half and half men and women.
4 Heatons Friendship Group (4HFG)
We are a community friendship group based in Stockport. Members generally come from the north of the town. The group was set up to help bring together people who want to meet people with similar interests or try something new. No membership fees, two optional weekly meetings: Coffee Catch-up & Thursday's Evening Meetup and numerous group activities.
The current group is a merger between 15th LSA and the old 4th LSA. We continue to work on the basics of Scouting and also the adventure such as climbing, shooting, survival camps and lots of crafts for our younger Scouts (they are called Beavers but known as Turquoise Ninjas). Looking to the future to grow.

The Afyah organisation promotes social inclusion for the public benefit by working with BAME women and children We runs a local support network group that encourages all excluded women to participate more effectively with the wider community.
The duty of the Council is to deal with matters within its boundaries and which come under its remit. These include caring for all public areas owned by the Council, maintaining the children’s playground, looking at planning applications, liaising with the Hurst Green Memorial Hall Management Committee, installing and maintaining any speed control equipment within the village etc.

Albrighton Swimming Pool is a unique outdoor swimming pool. Heated to typically 26-29oC, the pool is 15m long by 7m wide, from 0.6m to 2m deep, in the grounds of Albrighton Primary School, Newhouse Lane, WV7 3QS. The pool is open to the public throughout the summer months, run by the volunteers of Albrighton & District Swimming Club.

The Alma Singers consists of ladies from villages around Great Barford, founded by Alma Tebbutt in 2010.
