Ardleigh & District Horticultural Society is a friendly organisation which welcomes everyone. It was founded in 1893 and aims to promote an interest in all aspects of horticulture.
Monthly evening meetings are held from October to May (but not in January) at Ardleigh Methodist Hall (Colchester Road, Ardleigh, CO7 7NP). We have a talk from a guest speaker followed by refreshments and drawing of the raffle.
The Annual show in mid-August, at Ardleigh Village Hall (Station Road, Ardleigh, CO7 7RS), is an open show and always receives lots of positive comments regarding the quality and quantity of the entries.
A large plant sale is held for a couple of hours on a Saturday morning mid-May, at Ardleigh Village Hall (Station Road, Ardleigh, CO7 7RS).
Membership is just £5 a year. This gives you free entry to all 7 of our monthly meetings and free entry to the Annual Show. You can join at any of the monthly meetings or at the Annual Show (for the next season).
