In March 2014 local MP and environmentalist Zac Goldsmith, with the campaign group HACAN, launched a competition for film-makers, open to anyone, with the only rules being that the films must be no longer than 2-minutes, and they must make the strongest possible case against Heathrow expansion.

It is an exciting competition, and will help to highlight the issue in the national (and social) media, and ram home the message that Heathrow expansion is not only the wrong solution for our economy, it is politically undeliverable.

If you think you can make a powerful 2-minute film, the competition is for you. Closing date for entries is 1 June, and more information can be found at http://www.no-ifs-no-buts.com/

If you just want to enjoy the final event at Richmond Theatre on Wednesday June 18th at 7:00pm, when the strongest films will be shown t and judged by a high-profile panel including actor Hugh Grant and Broadcaster Gyles Brandreth, as well as the audience, please email Zac Goldsmith to book a seat. There is no fee, but we will have to award seats on a first-come-first-serve basis.
