Good-ish news for locals who want to take waste to the Villiers Road dump by foot or bike, KEF was one of several groups and individuals lobbying Kingston Council about this.

"Brand new trial to see residents visit Kingston’s recycle centre by bike or on foot
Tuesday, 4 December 2018
Residents will soon be able to access the Household Reuse and Recycling Centre on Villiers Road by bicycle or on foot, following the introduction of a 12-week trial starting on Sunday 9 December.
The scheme will allow residents to visit the site on foot or by bicycle on Sundays between 1pm and 4pm. Visitors will be met by staff on the gate who will escort them around the site..."
