1st Kingshill Scout Group has approximately 70 boys and girls in our Beaver, Cub and Scout sections, mostly from the Buckinghamshire villages and schools of Great and Little Kingshill, between Great Missenden and High Wycombe. We offer a great variety of activities for our children, encouraging widespread contact and involvement between the sections and also with the member’s whole family.
Over many years Galleywood, in common with many towns and villages, had an annual carnival. A survey of all residents undertaken as part of the Parish Plan in 2011 identified an annual celebratory event as something the village wanted and would support. Albrighton Swimming Pool is a unique outdoor swimming pool. Heated to typically 26-29oC, the pool is 15m long by 7m wide, from 0.6m to 2m deep, in the grounds of Albrighton Primary School, Newhouse Lane, WV7 3QS. The pool is open to the public throughout the summer months, run by the volunteers of Albrighton & District Swimming Club.

Ashbourne Allotments is sited by Watery Lane, Ashbourne in Derbyshire. The site only started in March 2011. The land originally belonged to Nestle who sold it with a covenant to Derbyshire Dales District Council for agricultural use only. Derbyshire Dales Council lease the land to the Ashbourne Alotments Association.
Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP) is a NHS working group: a team of women and their families, commissioners and providers (midwives and doctors) working together to review and contribute to the development of local maternity care. We are made up of Ashford & St Peter's Hospital maternity service users and staff, and other stakeholders; working together to improve our maternity service.
The Fayre held in The Orchard on Banstead High Street is an exciting and fun community event for all the family with a Parade, stalls, rides and entertainment for all, including dancing around a May Pole. The May Fayre for 2020 is on the 2nd May 2020.

We have a strong and thriving community here but one thing we lacked was a group for parents of pre-schoolers and it became quite apparent from conversations, that is was needed!

We are a committee of volunteers who organise an annual week long gala for Dunscore village and surrounding district.
