We are a small but friendly Guide Unit. For girls aged 10 to 14 - Guides to challenge themselves and make a difference in their community. We work on a range of badges and activities with the aim of facilitating the young people in developing their team working skills, leadership skills, independence and life skills along with so much more.
1st Kingshill Scout Group has approximately 70 boys and girls in our Beaver, Cub and Scout sections, mostly from the Buckinghamshire villages and schools of Great and Little Kingshill, between Great Missenden and High Wycombe. We offer a great variety of activities for our children, encouraging widespread contact and involvement between the sections and also with the member’s whole family.
Over many years Galleywood, in common with many towns and villages, had an annual carnival. A survey of all residents undertaken as part of the Parish Plan in 2011 identified an annual celebratory event as something the village wanted and would support. We are a thriving Scout Group for boys and girls in and around the market town of Kirkham, located on the Fylde coast between Preston and Blackpool in West Lancashire. We have a Beaver Scout Colony, a Cub Scout Pack and a Scout Troop, and support local Explorer Scout Units.
