The service we use for Voicebot is closing down soon, so I've set up a new help agent (imaginatively also called Voicebot) using a different service, and put it onto the test site.
It would be great if you could try it out with all your trickiest questions about Voice, and let me know how well it does!

I just had a quick play around - it looks good and answered technical questions very well.
I did ask about what data it was storing from me, where and for how long (something we're working on for a new menu based chatbot...) which it wasn't able to answer.
I really like the "naturalness" of the responses. I also like the thumbs up/down option which I will look into for ours.
Is chatbase free? I think I can see a freeplan available but it's quite limited

I have set it up using Chatbase with the Hobby subscription which should be plenty for the use that Voicebot gets. I didn't think the free plan was quite enough.
It seems to have good customisation options and control over exactly which pages it uses as training material - I gave it the sitemap of the main Voice site and the Documentation site, and then can choose which pages to include/exclude from those. Can also add FAQs for things it misses, and it's easy to review the chats to see where it might have gone wrong.
If cheapness is the key then the Elfsight AI Chatbot Widget might be suitable for you - I had a look at it but found it wasn't very customisable in terms of what material it learns from - you basically point it at your website and it tries to figure it all out itself. You can then tweak the URLs it's trained with but it's a bit of a faff and rather manual. But it is cheap, so there's that!

Questions it couldn't answer:
Q: "I'd like to make certain files in the 'assets library' available to all website visitors. Is there an application or includelet that can do this?" (I don't know the answer to this, it is a thing I'd like to do some time in the future but haven't looked into yet, so I am not sure if there is an available answer in the docs!)
Q: "What DNS server is the site using? I see the new A record for my custom domain fine on the Cloudflare and Google ones but it seems not to be picked up on your site yet." (very reasonable for it not to know, I'd rummaged through the available help pages and some forum threads already without figuring out any details)
Here's one it did answer:
Q: "I have been using the photo album includelet to add images to a page. Are there ways to integrate images alongside text, for example in a sidebar or as part of the post body with a specific class that I could add custom CSS for?"

This seems like a pretty useful answer to me. As far as I can tell you can not add a specific class to images that have been added through the WSYIWYG editor, and should instead add any formatting to them inline by right clicking on them and selecting "Advanced" on the image menu. I think it's reasonable to assume that the instructions about custom CSS are meant to apply to the previous paragraph about content blocks, though.

Your question on how to make files available from the assets library is interesting - and I'd be interested to know more about what you have in mind here.
For images you can add them to pages individually, and documents you can create links to, and audio/video media can also be embedded on a page. But maybe you had a sort of "file download" widget or something in mind?
I'd be open to suggestions here - maybe there's a neat way of making a little file listing or something that could go on a page.

I've now put the new Voicebot live on this site and in the admin pages of all sites. I think it is already a worthwhile upgrade on the old one!
(the old one didn't work in the admin pages of sites with custom domains, but this one does)
