A collection of pictures of Elstead, our country home
In spite of its closeness to Guildford and Aldershot Elstead is still an independent country village, with active farming, forestry and equestrian activities, as well as a good assortment of local shops and commerce. It is on the edge of the River Wey flood plain and is bordered on the South by nature reserves and commons. As such it is worth displaying some of the scenes of farmland and heathland that surround us, as well as the rich mixture of architecture that has grown up in the village over the centuries.
