Chesham & District Natural History Society was formed in 1964 to encourage interest in all aspects of biodiversity and habitat management. We hold monthly meetings, with experts providing digital presentations on a wide range of natural history subjects, and lead walks to areas of specific wildlife interest to broaden the experiences for our members.and visitors.
We are a committee of volunteers who organise an annual week long gala for Dunscore village and surrounding district. During gala week we provide entertainment and activities for families culminating on the Saturday when all children's activities are free. Throughout the year we organise fundraisers etc to meet the costs of gala week.
