Torfaen council, wanted to charge a disabled resident thirty pounds [GBP] £30.00 GBP] to take a single sofa that is in good condition, which they could of put in their recycle place.

i asked the resident to contact Circulate, which is a charity for collecting and redistributing furniture, to arrange a suitable time for collection.

there is a date next week for Circulate to collect said sofa from this resident for free.
