1: greyed out insert/edit link and remove link buttons

I have used these buttons on  https://e-voice.org.uk/sgsoba/ website for sometime to upload seachable magazines. On my new web site

htttps://e-voice/gwca I cannot use these buttons as they are greyed out. All I have managed to achive is to display the url link which then opens to full page.

You need to select some text (or an image) in the WYSIWYG before the Insert/Edit Link button can be clicked. It then converts that text into a link to the URL you supply.

If it remains greyed out even with selected text then something has gone wrong with the editor - you could try restarting the browser perhaps?
