1: Can't add photo's to albums

Hi,

It looks like there may be an issue with the photos application. When trying to add a photo the system reports the following error:

"This album does not contain anything."

I have tried existing albums and creating new albums results in the same error.

Strange. I just tested this on the Demo Site and it worked fine, both with an existing and new album.

Maybe there's something odd about the file you're trying to add? As a test you could try a bog-standard JPEG to see if that works OK.

If there is a specific file that doesn't work, could you email it to me and I'll see if I can figure out what the problem is.

Hi Joe,

Ah, now I did look at the file size and the type both seemed to be "normal" jpg. Never thought to try another file, (no idea why) I have and it works so this is an issue with the file.

I have had another look and Photoshop would not open it but I managed to open it in Paint, did a quick re-save of the file and now it works!

The exif data tells me the file was taken with a fuji xt4 and as this is a mono image I am guessing it's come straight from the camera, so maybe just a quirk with that type of camera...
