Hi Kris,

Thanks for getting on contact. The option to switch your community to a private membership wil remove the link at the top of the page to become a member.

However the link at the bottom of the page that you are referring to is to become a member of the whole e-voice service (to be alowed to become a member of other websites on e-voice or to create a new community website). 

I understand the wording is a little confusing and we'll look at making it more clear in our next update.

would consider placing that registration in some other place though? i think it can be misleading for some members who dont fully understand the difference between their local community website and voice...best regards kris
