The Waltham Wanderers was started in 1995, by Peter and Maureen Bradley, Peter Jackson and Clare Lyne to establish a not too serious, non affiliated walking group in our community.
We've been walking once a month on a Sunday since then. We have enjoyed walking in Essex, Suffolk and sometimes further afield
All are welcome, there's no fee, just a willingness to enjoy the company of others whilst walking at an even pace, to stop to take a photo and enjoy the countryside of our area
The walks which are usually about 5 miles, are led by volunteers from the group, with a convenient picnic stop about half way, We start at 12 noon. The information about the walks is shared by e mail with the walk's leader providing the details of the start, length of walk and any interesting features.
Walks are due to take place on Sundays 28th April, 19th May, and 9th June 2024
