Hagg Bridge Closure
We have been informed by ERYC highways that the Hagg Bridge roadworks are due to commence from the 27th April. This decision is in accordance with the Department for Transport's request for works on the public highway to proceed or be brought forward to take advantage of reduced traffic volumes. The contractor has provided assurances that they can meet Public Health England industry guidance on safe working practices.
Works are due to be completed within 6 months. A road closure and diversion will be in place and ERYC will work with the contractor throughout the construction period to minimise the duration of the road closure.
