We are a small but friendly Guide Unit. For girls aged 10 to 14 - Guides to challenge themselves and make a difference in their community. We work on a range of badges and activities with the aim of facilitating the young people in developing their team working skills, leadership skills, independence and life skills along with so much more.

CVA builds stronger communities for social change by supporting citizens to take active roles in their neighbourhoods and by championing community organisations that nurture and celebrate local strength (see www.cvalive.org.uk). This is a subsite showing our impact 2021/22.

The Bath Shed is a community organisation based in Bath for (mainly but not exclusively) men and women over 50 years of age who can connect, converse and create. The activities are often similar to those of garden sheds, but for groups of people to enjoy together. They help reduce loneliness and isolation, but most importantly, they’re fun.

B Young Stars is a youth organization dedicated to empowering young individuals to embrace their authentic identities while unlocking their full potential. Through our weekly tutoring services, sports activities, and personal development programs, we create opportunities for young people to shape their values and aspirations.

Raising money for the local foodbank and creating a fund to inspire and mentor young people. This will be funded by collecting cans selling the cans to metal merchants. I am based in Christchurch and have many people from the local community who want to be involved.

We provide an audio version of the local newspaper to blind and partially sighted members and to those unable to read the newspaper.

We're a membership organisation that supports, develops and promotes the voluntary sector in the London borough of Sutton. We support 15 people a day 65+, including people with dementia and people with various needs and disabilities. We are registered with the care inspectorate since 2009 and a registered charity. We work in partnership with local people other voluntary agencies and enable older people to stay independent within their own homes and participate fully in their community.

Eating for Better Health (EBH) aims to promote healthier nutritional awareness for health professionals and the public using interactive talks, and hands-on cooking workshops. Led by Dr Vineet Thapar who is an experienced GP and medical educator. Events include involvement of NHS medical staff, academic staff/students from local Universities and may also include chefs who are passionate about healthy eating.

Essex Community First Aid Events Volunteers (ECFAEV) is a registered charity (no. 1180674), which provides affordable first aid at events in and around Essex, and first aid training.

The Friends of Guildford Museum is a small charity that supports the work and development of Guildford Museum including providing funds for additions to its collection.

We are a group of volunteers dedicated to raising awareness of the plight of the swift. Our aim is to protect and enhance the traditional nesting sites of these iconic summer visitors and to establish new nesting sites where appropriate in the Hastings and Rother area of East Sussex. We make, supply and install swift nest boxes and call systems.

The Heston and Cranford Community Development Network connects local groups, residents, and service providers to share resources, collaborate on projects, and support community wellbeing. It fosters partnerships, promotes local initiatives, and amplifies community voices, helping to address local priorities and strengthen engagement across Heston and Cranford.

Humber Raynet is an emergency communications group. We are pledged to provide communications support in times of emergency such as floods, extreme weather and other situations where communications are compromised or overloaded. We are affiliated to the national RAYNET UK organisation.

Jambo is a community restaurant under the umberella of UCRA. We are based in Haringey on Westgreen serving low cost aunthentic meals to enable everyone eat healthly

Supporting and mentoring women from the criminal justice system

A volunteer organisation made up by the members of the community that come together. In time of emergency flood, fire, natural or man made incidents, to support the community the members come from, using the skill they already have or have training in. Not a replacement for the emergency service but yet a support.

The Lowestoft Thursday Club is a self funded, voluntary group for adults with learning disabilities, and has been running since the 1960's. With approximately 100 members, collected every Thursday evening by volunteers, in a double decker bus paid for via fund raising. The members enjoy various activities and entertainment with some members having attended for up to 30 years.

Drug and Alcohol Community and Recovery Group based in Kingston and surrounding area.

Pentraeth Memorial Hall serves our local communities across the surrounding areas of Anglesey. The Hall is modern, light airy and hosts a wide variety of events, sports, community groups etc from Thai boxing, yoga, to voluntary groups and local Councils. Not forgetting children’s parties! The North West Pensioners Association promotes the welfare and interests of pensioners, retired, and older people in need and the needs of their families in the North West of England.

The Parish Council meets on the Second Wednesday of the Month in the Pleshey Village Hall.
