School meals are freshly prepared each day by The School Lunch Company who understand the importance of a healthy nutritious school meal, both for the physical needs of a school day and also as a key part of the education process. They place great importance on sourcing fresh ingredients from local suppliers. All their meals are accompanied by a choice of fresh vegetables, bread and chilled water. In addition there is a Self Service Salad Cart available throughout the lunchtime period.
We like to encourage all children to enjoy a school meal and allow them to benefit from a wide choice and at the same time to take part in the social experience of sharing a meal with friends.
Meals currently cost £2.20 per day for Key Stage 2 children and should be ordered and paid for in advance via our online payment system Scopay.
If you feel you may be eligible to claim free school meals for your child, please read the Department for Education guidance. Application forms are available from the School Office and all applications are treated in the strictest of confidence.
