What We Do
The children at the Hendreds school are currently divided into five classes. One of our full time members of staff takes overall responsibility for the children in each class. These groups do PE, music and other wider curriculum activities together.
However, the main academic teaching is predominantly conducted in smaller groups based on ability and taught by any one of the seven teachers in the school. These teaching groups are often made up of children from different year groups and classes.
This flexible approach to teaching makes sure that each child in the school receives the appropriate level of instruction for his or her ability, and ensures that they reach their full potential during their time at the Hendreds.
