Should we need to close the school due to severe weather or indeed any other problem such as heating failures, we contact BBC Radio Oxford (VHF/FM 95.2) and they then broadcast on a rolling basis which schools are closed. We also place notices on our home page of this website.
We aim to have made a decision by 7.30am having taken account of conditions affecting a range of staff.
Very occasionally in the hustle and bustle of the morning parents might miss the closure message and for this reason please do not allow any unaccompanied children coming up to school so they do not discover a closed building and no adults here.
