Children walking through the gates of The Hendreds every day are welcomed into a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. The wellbeing of each child is at the heart of this school. We instil in them a love of learning, and a sense of self and social responsibility during their time with us.

Our approach focuses on treating each child as an individual, providing them with a fun, safe and supportive environment in which to learn, grow and prosper. Our goal is to help each child to fulfil their full potential, preparing them academically and socially for the next stage of their education, and beyond.

We are dedicated to providing a broad curriculum which is stimulating and interesting. Literacy and numeracy are at the centre of everything we do; the teaching of these, and other core subjects, is approached in a holistic way. This exposes the children to a wide range of academic artistic and sporting activities in their learning and allows them all to find ways in which they can excel.

This website lets you see through the school gates and gives you an insight into what we do and how we do it. However, it is when you come and visit us that you will meet our best advertisement: happy children eager to learn.
