Camilla – The World Tour Begins

Meet Camilla, proud mascot of the Malpas A Team, formerly under the supposedly safe guardianship of team captain Gerard. After Wednesday’s match at Chester Road, Whitchurch (6th May), disaster struck. In a shocking lapse of mascot‑management, the captain forgot to pack her away, leaving Camilla abandoned, unattended, and—crucially—unsupervised. Camilla has now seized her moment. She has broken free. She is travelling the world. From today, Camilla begins her global escape tour, visiting famous countries, cities, and landmarks far beyond the reach of her former guardian. Camilla – The World Tour Continues

After being abandoned by the Malpas A Team captain Gerard, Camila continues on her whirlwind  world tour. Today she has reached Sydney where she will kick back and take in the sights visiting the Opera House and spending a couple of hours on Manley Beach.

Camilla's tour is moving fast. While she enjoys the Sydney sunshine today, her next destination remains a mystery until tomorrow's update.

Camilla – 'Houston we have a problem' at Luton Airport

After being abandoned by the Malpas A Team captain Gerard, Camilla continues on her whirlwind ‘outer’ world tour. Today she encountered problems going through Luton Airport, she was due to go to Mahon in Menorca but totally misread the departure board (she should have gone to Specsavers). Instead of taking a dip in the Mediterranean Sea she has ended up in the Sea of Tranquility in a place with no atmosphere.

After her cosmic detour will Camilla be able to navigate her way back from her ultimate long-haul flight. Check back tomorrow to find out.

Camilla‘s Romantic Rendezvous in Paris

Camilla shakes off the Luton Airport misadventure and glides across the Channel in style on Eurostar. Paris welcomes her with open arms and a glittering skyline. On the penultimate night of her journey, she meets Charles, her equally plush soulmate, for a romantic rendezvous beneath the Eiffel Tower. Two camels in love, surrounded by twinkling lights and the hum of the city — it’s plush perfection.

Camilla receives award from Camilla!

On the way back from Paris to be reunited with her guardian Gerard, Camilla stops off at Buckingham Palace to pick up her award. Camilla was voted the ‘Best Mascot of the Year’ by the members of Malpas A Team. The fact that their captain Gerard could only afford one plush soft cuddly toy should not detract from her achievement.  Camilla picked up her award from none other than her royal namesake, Queen Camilla in a ceremony full of pomp and pageant.

The celebrations will be short-lived, however. Camilla is expected to resume her official mascot duties imminently. She brings with her a new sense of prestige, a slightly inflated ego, and a title that will surely strike fear into the hearts of our next opponents.
