Men’s, Ladies & Junior Cup – Sunday 28th June 2026
The historic top green at Ellesmere Bowling Club played host to an exceptional display of competitive crown green bowls as the club held its highly anticipated annual Men’s, Ladies, and Juniors Cup.
The yearly centerpiece event benefited from a timely break in the weather. A recent intense heatwave relented just in time to offer perfect playing conditions, paving the way for high-calibre matches across all three competitions.
In the Ladies tournament, which was contested as an intensive mini-league format, Paige showcased remarkable consistency. She amassed the highest total points of the day to deservedly secure the championship title.
The Junior Cup delivered plenty of family drama. Alex advanced to the final to face his brother, Daniel, capturing the trophy with a ruthless and clinical performance on the green.
The Men’s tournament was dominated by Bradley, who found top form early in the day. Brushing aside all opponents in his pursuit of the silverware, Bradley ultimately clinched the title by defeating a resilient Barry in a hard-fought final match.
