Thank you to all the bowlers and supporters who came along to the EBC Spring Cup Competition on Sunday. The weather was glorious, the atmosphere brilliant, and the bowling was top‑class throughout the day.
After a series of hard‑fought matches, congratulations go to Alex Barney and David Cunningham for reaching the semi‑finals — superb bowling from both.
The final brought together “Lady Keri” (as she’s known to her Wem League teammates) and her partner Barry Fairhurst. It was a fantastic contest played in great spirit, full of skill, humour, and proper competitive edge.
After a nail‑biting finish, Barry emerged the winner, 21–20. A brilliant final and a pleasure to watch from start to finish.
