Once again we are offering you all the opportunity to run the summer series of 5k races in the scenic Langley Park Country Park, South Bucks. The policy of Bucks Country Parks is to keep Langley Park free from large major running events to focus on quiet relaxation. We are privileged to be able to offer 3 summer evening races.
Entry fee. £9 or £7 UKA affiliated.
Closing date for pre-entry is Sunday 15th May. (Sunday 12th June for race 2). (Sunday 10th July for race 3)
Entry on the evening is available but at a £2 surcharge to the standard fee - £11 or £9 for UKA affiliated. The option to enter all 3 races at a discount will be offered on the evening with the late entry surcharge of £2. Please note there is a limit of 100 runners per race.
On-the-day entry form (July 2022).
The race start time is 7pm.
The race number issued is yours for the series, so please keep it and bring it back if you enter more than one race.
The park is situated just off the A412 at Iver Heath, SL0 0LS. If travelling from the Slough direction make a 'U' turn at the Crooked Billet roundabout, at the end of the dual carriageway, and it will be signed a short distance down.
Parking is available next to race HQ at £3.80 for up to 3 hours (2m height limit). Car sharing will save you money, as well as being kinder to the planet!
Race HQ is next to the cafe, which is less than 100m from the car park.
Toilets are available behind the cafe.
Running with a dog/buggy/wheelchair. Please note the run route does not always follow well-formed paths and is therefore not suitable for running in a wheelchair or with a buggy. If you wish to run with a dog, please ensure it is on a short lead throughout, and you should start at the back of the field. (One dog per runner please!) Note that running with a dog is classified as an "assisted run" and therefore does not qualify for any awards.
Refreshments including hot & cold drinks and snacks will be available from the cafe.
Water will be supplied at the end of the race but please help us to minimise the use of disposable cups by bringing your own reuseable water bottle.
The results are produced manually so will not be displayed on the evening but will be available later on this website.
