I just put live a change that let's registered users sign up to email reminders for calendar events - either for individual events or for all events in a calendar.

For example, if you want an email reminder for upcoming Voice User Group Zoom chats, then go to the calendar on the Voice users site, log in, and click the Email me a reminder button.

You can turn off the reminders on the same page, or from the notifications management page in Your Account.

This is still a bit new so please have a play with it and see how you get on! I welcome feedback positive or negative!

At the same time I made a change so that calendar notification emails include the image too, and there's a tickbox to tell your site members about new events when you add/edit them.
