Hi all,
An exciting new feature just landed on the test site. There's now an image editor in the Photo Albums app - so you can crop/rotate/colourise/filter/ruin your favourite pictures all from the comfort of the Voice admin pages.
It's not intended for creating amazing original art - it's not Canva or Photoshop - but you can use it to tweak or annotate pictures to make them look better in your photo albums.
The editor can be used when adding a new photo, editing a photo, or editing an album.
It's still a bit experimental, so it would be great if everyone who has a test site with the photo albums enabled could have a play with it and report back. There may be bugs!
If it works well I will be adding the same editor into the Assets Library, for basic image editing within the CMS too.
Thanks!
Joe
OK even more exciting, you can now edit images in the assets library!
(or, at least, you can do on the test site)
Please try it out in some non-trivial ways. I'd like to have it exercised a bit before I release it onto the live site.
It seems to work well for me, though it might not be perfect yet!
Thanks
Joe
PS. User group chat tomorrow (tuesday) at midday!
Just had a look Joe - works well! Lots of options - thank you!
