Having got very excited about the latest Photo Albums updates, I decided to rejig some of my existing ones and add a couple of new ones. However, I have been completely defeated by the process.

I can't find any way of creating and editing an album - if I add the includelet, it only offers me the choice of the preexisting albums. Creating a folder, the "+ Add Album" and "+ Add Folder" buttons don't appear in the toolbar or in the 3 dots menu. And I can't seem to find a way to edit the existing albums - how are they accessed?

I've obviously managed this in the past, to create the albums I have, but I'm baffled at the moment!

Thanks for any help

Norman

I eventually managed to get into the existing Photo albums by going to "Website_address/photos", where the add album and add folder tags do appear, but I can't find an easier way of adding albums.

The 3 dots menu just links to help or return to website, and doesn't offer any of the options Joe suggests in the documentation.

Cheers

The changes apply to the Photo Albums application, not directly to the Photo Album includelet - though if you are using the includelet then the videos will now show alongside the photos.

So yes, as you've discovered, if you go to the photo albums page, and if you're logged in as an administrator, then you should see the + Add buttons as appropriate.
(These buttons aren't in the admin pages of the site, they are in the photo album pages themselves on the public pages, when you're logged in as someone who has permission to add photos)

Thanks
