In theory all pages now always have all the areas available all the time - there's no need to switch to a layout that has fewer slots available.

The columns/slots only appear on pages if there is anything in them, so you essentially choose the number of slots in your layout just by putting things in them or not, rather than changing the layout to hide/remove those slots.

Do you have pages where all the different slots are not showing up? If so please let me know and I'll see what's happened, and enable them all for you.

Thanks

The problem relates to both sub-pages of the "August Stalls" page. Neither "Craft Stalls" nor Food & Drink products" can be edited to include a right hand column.

Interesting, not sure how that happened!

I've fixed it now. You, and anyone else who wasn't seeing all the slots in the page layout, will now correctly see them all!

Thanks

Hi Joe, I'm not if this is relating to my issue, but on our website, the pages that used to be two columns left has now reverted back to the default layout, and I can't find where the option has gone to change to the layout for individual pages.

Probably yes - the intention now is that all pages always have all five "slots" available at all times, and you choose to use them or not use them just by putting includelets in them or leaving them empty. So if you see five slots (plus Scratch and Trash) then this is working correctly.

The old method where you would choose the number of slots available no longer exists - on the whole it tended to cause confusion.

Now the rule is simple - if there is includelet content to be shown then that slot/column will appear on the page, otherwise it won't.

Thanks

Joe

I am trying to remove includlets from the Left layout column as I do not what them to show, however, it does not let me drag them to the trash, so how do I get them removed please

Are the includelets that you can't move greyed out? If so they are inherited from a parent page (e.g., the homepage), so you would have to delete them from there, or configure them not to inherit downwards.

If they're not greyed out they should drag around as normal, unless something weird is happening!

If you let me know what the page is I could have a look.

Thanks

Joe

Thanks for letting me know. I've updated the website to have the right columns on separate pages.
