I have created two sites and as far as I can see the settings are identical for both but for the most recent one I cannot seem to be able to remove the 'Site Membership' icon completly. What have I done wrong?.

The 2 sites are:

meninshedswinslow.org.uk - works as I wanted

winslowlions.org.uk - Membership Login icon (globe graphic) is still in header.

Also the security certifcate is still pending on the winslowlions site.

Even stranger a third site that I just migrated to Voice and was working fine is pointing back to the original weebly site?? winslowbigsociety.org.uk (domain hosted by GoDaddy) has something changed on the Voice Server to make it point back again?

Checking the Site Domain tab on the winslowbigsociety site and suggests a strange IP address "Possibly OK but using unusual IP - check domain settings". When checking GoDaddy settings I have 2 x A records but cannot change one of them that points to 199.34.228.59 (I think this was the original IP for Weebly site.)

It appears the mobile browser is the correct evoice version and the desktop version is the original Weebly version. How do I synchronise the evoice version on both browsers?

You've kind of answered your own question here - if you have two A records and one points to the old site, the half the time you go to the site you'll get the old one, and half the time the new one. Each DNS request will randomly return one or the other IP address. When you remove the old one then it'll work correctly!

(the browser will cache the IP address it gets from the DNS request for a while, which is why it can appear to work OK in one browser for a while, but if you come back to it later it might not!)

And for the Lions Club site, try setting the Membership Policy to Private, then the button to join the site will disappear.

Thanks

Joe

Thanks. The challenge is the first A record can not be edited or deleted. I will contact Go Daddy.

I will try the Private setting.

I had to delete the 'Weebly Template' from their DNS settings page and all seems fine now. Thanks.
