Hello! 

Would it be possible for the content block of the carousel includelet pull images from a photo album folder where I don't have to add/select it directly into the content block? Or that the other photo album type includelet has a carousel option?

Or is there a way to do something like this with the current tools and i just don't know how to make websites anymore?

Hi

Upload any photos you want to use in the carousel in the Asset Library (through manage the website).  Once in the Asset Library you'll be able to link them into the carousel.
