1: Email circulation lists - alternatives to Google Groups and Gaggle Mail

I am looking for an alternative to Google Groups and Gaggle Mail. Basically we have a distribution list to members allowing any member to email the group and is distributed out. We were using Google Groups for many years but due to blocking of emails and declaration from Google they were not supporting any longer moved to Gaggle Mail and was fine. However they now want to charge for the service and this is an overhead we cannot afford.

Does anyone have any suggestions to an alternative way of sending group emails (rather than personal group lists)

I have several website clients who use Mailchimp which is quite comprehensive and is free for modest numbers of mailshots.

Thanks. We already use Mailchimp (and MailerLite) for newsletters. This was actually a request for an email forwarding solution. 

Members send an email to an address that is immediately forwarded to all members. They in turn can respond direct to sender or to all on the distribution list.
