I've added a new Hide from search engines? option for CMS pages.
When you enable this for a page, it won't appear in the site search, or in the sitemap that search engines use to find content to index.
If a well behaved search engine (such as Google or Bing) does find the page, then it will be instructed not to index it.
And so, if you also choose not to put the page in the navigation menu, then the page content is reasonably secret. The only way anyone could find the page is if you gave them the URL, or explicitly link to it from another page.
This could be useful if you want to put hidden content on your site that you can restrict access to by distributing the URL only to those people you want to see it.
Note that it doesn't guarantee secrecy - e.g., someone could still share the URL on social media!
Thanks
Joe
