Hi

I am creating a filtered item list on my homepage at www.bromleywell.org.uk.

I want to select pages by keyword home-page so i can pick content according to that criteria. So far so good.

I also want to place items in order - by what we deem as most important. I'm struggling to do this with the available options.

(The sort order "Site map order" - doesn't seem to follow the order seen in the Site map. Currently this is the closest available option I have to the order I want to display in, short of artificially forcing changing publish date of pages)

Thanks for any suggestions

Sue

Hi Sue,

I think the only way to truly do this is to use an Item List to manually pick the pages and order them how you like, rather than a Filtered Item List. The other option for your filtered item list might be to change the FIL to most recently published and then make a small change an publish them in order. However, they will move every time a change is made to the page.

I'm guessing the pages are not all under one section? Because you can reorder them for a better site map order in the index tab. But of course if they are in different sections then that's not relly possible.

An item list is the way to go I think!
