How do I access the WYSIWYG editor?

Does the editor never show, or just not show in some situations? e.g., when posting on these forums, do you see the editor (with the Edit/View/Format/etc menus)

The editor relies on JavaScript and a modern browser - it will (should!) work perfectly in newer versions of Firefox/Safari/Chrome/Edge, though may struggle with older browsers, especially IE.

Hi Joe, resolved! I was following the online guide but that showed an old screen image of the editor before the new menus were introduced!
