Hi Joe
Thanks for responding.
The site URL is now corrected and fine.
The problem seems to be that the back office content management Site title is not picking up from the website details page, so it is not self correcting. Can you make the back ofice content management tab name pick up from the website details page ?
This does not affect the live site, it just irritates people using the management system and is a worry that it may appear elsewhere.
Thanks for your help
Bryn
Hi Bryn,
The incorrect spelling in the admin pages will disappear soon as I've changed it on the test site to always have the title "Content Management" rather than the original name of the site when it was first created. I'll put this live soon but there are some other changes I'm testing on the test site first so will do them all together!
(And a load of updates to the documentation that I'm working on to go with it!)
Regarding the URL, what I mean is that your site is currently found at https://e-voice.org.uk/myareabeckenhamfolkdance which has a spurious 'myarea' in there - we could change this to https://e-voice.org.uk/beckenham-folk-dance or similar if you like. It might help with Google ranking as well as being easier for people to remember!
Let me know if you want to do this.
Another option is to add your own domain name in the future - so it could be something like www.beckenham-folk-dance.uk.
Cheers
Joe
