The address/map/telephone number/etc is shown using the Contact Information includelet.

It takes the information from the details set in Website Settings - Website Details in the site admin pages.

If you want to remove it completely you can go to the Content Management section, to to the Home page, then Layout tab, and remove the Contact Information includelet.
